Gordita
("Chubby") A pastry made with masa or dough—often prepared as a thick tortilla, either baked or fried—and stuffed with cheese, meat, or other fillings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, cilantro and salsa or pico de gallo.
  • Gorditas de carne deshebrada: Gordita stuffed with shredded beef.
  • Gorditas de carne de res: Gordita stuffed with beef or beef steak.
  • Gorditas de chicharrón: Gordita stuffed with fried pork rinds, onion, cilantro, salsa verde and crema.
Guacamole
A dish of mashed avocado usually mixed with chopped onion, tomatoes, chili peppers, and seasoning.
